{"id":1271,"date":"2022-12-14T14:35:29","date_gmt":"2022-12-14T13:35:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.flipchart.it\/?p=1271"},"modified":"2023-03-17T21:16:12","modified_gmt":"2023-03-17T20:16:12","slug":"are-you-ignoring-these-tips-on-flipcharts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.flipchart.it\/en\/are-you-ignoring-these-tips-on-flipcharts\/","title":{"rendered":"Are you ignoring these tips on flipcharts?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>When using a flip chart:<\/h2>\n<p><em>Do you think about what to say?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Do you think about what to write?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Do you know that generally, you&#8217;ll find yourself doing both at the same time?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s well-known that the flipchart is a great aid for trainers and coaches.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But only if it&#8217;s used in the proper way.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, many experts avoid using flipcharts as much as they can because of 3 reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They have problems remembering what to write.<\/li>\n<li>They lack confidence in their own writing abilities.<\/li>\n<li>They fear being sidetracked in the critical moment of their performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HERE ARE 6 SUGGESTIONS THAT WILL HELP YOU OVERCOME DIFFICULTIES WHEN YOU WRITE ON A BOARD.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>At the bottom corner of each sheet,\u00a0<strong>put a tiny piece of transparent adhesive tape<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThis will create a grip that will allow you to flip the sheet without pinching other pages together.<\/li>\n<li>In the pages where you&#8217;ve noted down the key points of your speech, l<strong>eave a lot of space between each one<\/strong>.<br \/>\nWhile you go on with your lesson, you&#8217;ll have the chance to jot down the input of the public.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Do not write, print!<\/strong><br \/>\nWrite every single letter in a clear\u00a0 and a defined manner.<br \/>\nThe trick is: lift the marker from the sheet every time you draw.<br \/>\nIf you write Z, you\u2019ll have to trace 3 times.<br \/>\nIf it&#8217;s E, trace 4 times.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Write in a large font with block letters<\/strong>: never use the italic font which distracts the audience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use dark markers<\/strong>: black, blue, red and dark green.<br \/>\nDedicate a different color from the one you&#8217;re using for the comments that you get from the audience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>If you also use PowerPoint in your presentation<\/strong>, remember to darken it when you work at the flipchart.<br \/>\nThe slides pose a risk of distracting your audience from the flipchart.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Our suggestions are easy to implement if you use the large KING board!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flipchart.it\/en\/clients-using-king\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Watch our Clients using it.<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Great job, to your success!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When using a flip chart: Do you think about what to say?
